Country Pursuit

Jim Chick
is one of the leading falconers in Britain today. He represents falconers and bird of prey keepers at national level and has been involved with the Hawk Board for many years.

Jim's interest in birds started in his teens and for several years he kept and flew racing pigeons. He has been involved with birds of prey for more than 40 years now and has trained and flown a variety of falcons, hawks, eagles and owls.

As one of the first people to fly birds at Country fairs, fetes, etc. Jim has set a very high standard and endeavours to make each demonstration educational and informative as well as enjoyable to watch.

Another side of Jim's business is making the tiny transmitters that the birds wear to enable falconers to track them when they are flying.  Details and prices can be found at www.falcontelemetrics.co.uk.
